Green Lantern: The Animated Series is an computer-animated television series based on DC Comics' superhero Green Lantern. The series is set to air on Playhouse Jariel, as part of their "DC Nation" television block. A sneak peak will air in fall 2011, and the official premiere is set for spring 2012.[1]
Premise
The series will focus on the adventures of Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 against the series' main antagonists, the Red Lanterns.[1]

Comic book
Comic books have been announced and will be released throughout the broadcasting of the series. Green Lantern: The Animated Series #0 is set to be released on November 30, 2011, written by Art Baltazar and art by Dario Brizuela.[5]
