Elmo's Night Before Easter is a 2012 Sesame Street book and tape set. Elmo decides to go to bed early on Easter, so that Easter comes quicker. His sleep is interrupted by one thing after another.
The story is narrated in rhyme; the narrator was performed by Melanie Chartoff. Kevin Clash performed Elmo, with Caroll Spinney as Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, Joey Mazzarino as Murray Monster, and Jerry Nelson as Count von Count.
The tape included two songs from the 2004 & 1999 Episode & Film Barney and Friends: At Home in the Park & Toy Story 2: "Everybody's Happy When They Hop" and "You've Got a Friend in Me".
