- January 1: Another new Barney magazine called "January/February 2038" will be released to stores.
- January 5: The 2010 Barney & Friends episode video, "Please and Thank You" will be re-released to stores. Also, the 2000 Barney video, "Be My Valentine, Love Barney" will be re-released as the title of the same name to stores.
- March 1: Another new Barney magazine called "March/April 2038" will be released to stores.
- May 1: Another new Barney magazine called "May/June 2038" will be released to stores.
- May 18: The 2010 Barney video, "Let's Play Outside" will be re-released to stores.
- June 15: The 2003 Barney video, "Barney Songs From the Park", along with the 2010 Barney album of the same name will be re-released to stores.
- July 1: Another new Barney magazine called "July/August 2038" will be released to stores.
- July 27: The 2010 Barney & Friends episode video, "Furry Friends" will be re-released as "Cats and Dogs" to stores.
- September 1: Another new Barney magazine called "September/October 2038" will be released to stores.
- September 6: Season 20 of the revival television series, "Barney & Friends" will premiere on some PBS stations.
- September 9: The Barney live show, "Barney's Outer Space Adventure - Live on Stage - A North American Adaptation of Adventures in Space" will begin performing at the Mobile Civic Center in Mobile, Alabama.
- September 14: The 2010 Barney video, "A-Counting We Will Go" will be re-released to stores.
- October 12: The 2002 Barney video, "Barney's Christmas Star" will be re-released to stores.
- November 1: Another new Barney magazine called "November/December 2038" will be released to stores.
- November 25: Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Riff and the kids will perform "Jingle Bells" at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City, New York.
