- August 7: "Barney & the Backyard Gang: The Complete Series" will be released to stores, which means, the 1988 video, "The Backyard Show", the 1989 video, "Three Wishes", the 1989 video, "A Day at the Beach", the 1990 video, "Waiting for Santa", the 1990 video, "Campfire Sing-Along", the 1990 video, "Barney Goes to School", the 1991 video recording, "Barney in Concert", and the 1991 video, "Rock with Barney" are gonna be released on DVD to stores, which means, they'll be re-released to stores.
- August 28: "Barney's Favorites Vol. 1" and "Barney's Favorites Vol. 2" will be re-released to stores.
- November 22: Barney, Baby Bop, BJ and Riff will perform "If You're Happy and You Know It" at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City, New York, USA.
